Since the resumption of work in early February, the ink products we produce have been in short supply, and the number of orders has increased compared with previous years, showing a trend of “strength in the off-season against the market.”

The rapid resumption of work and production, and market expansion during the epidemic, were the results of Bauhinia Variegata Ink's persistence in scientific research and innovation for many years. Our R&D team currently has nearly 70 people, and our annual R&D investment is the tens of millions of CNY. Nearly a hundred varieties of our benzene-free and ketone-free inks, water-based inks, and polyurethane resin lamination inks have become well-known products in the industry.
Before 2008, Bauhinia Variegata Ink was an ordinary ink company, and our development also depended on the overall prosperity of the industry. In 2008, were sensitive to “environmental protection,” which became a topic of increasing concern for people and the government, especially for chemical companies.
As we all know, toluene has always been an important solvent in inks, with good performance and low price, and many countries and regions have not banned it.
Bauhinia Variegata Ink decided to proactively raise environmental standards. By adjusting the solvent ratio, toluene in ink was completely removed.
Since Bauhinia Variegata Ink launched its toluene-free products, our product sales have ranked first in China for several consecutive years (data from the Ink Branch of the China Daily Chemical Industry Association), forging a leading position in the industry.
